I can’t say that I haven’t done it myself.  I wish I could say that I was a very respectful person, who has never uttered a bad word about another girl, but that’s just not logical or honest.  It’s hard to not gossip about someone, and sometimes I’ll say the word “slut” or “skank” so naturally when referring to another girl that it literally takes me by surprise. It usually happens when I’m speaking of someone I don’t like or even a distant celebrity who I don’t even know personally.  I really don’t want to use these sort of derogatory terms towards women because then it just makes it easier for the guys to refer to us in that way.  I’m definitely going to try though.
